Margaret Hooks has assembled 150 pages of photographs of Frida Kahlo--the woman who has been heretofore seen primarily in her own paintings. These images begin in her childhood and continue until she is near death, and the photographers include not only Kahlo's father but such luminaries as Imogen Cunningham and Edward Weston.
